This is my copy of the book

Having been first published over 140 years ago, the language in this book is a little archaic. The author introduces the subject of the book, psychography,(spirit writing), and then proceeds with a brief history; Namely Guldenstubbe - Crookes.

In a factual manner he continues with some of his personal experiences with other psychics both private and public.

The reader is then presented with a wide selection of corroborative evidence, followed by a summary of the facts narrated.

The final section deals with certain deductions,explanations and theories,such as the nature of the force, and looks at methods of directing the force.

An interesting Appendix notes details of the medium Henry Slade's successful sittings in Berlin and St.Petersburg.

This book is a good resource for anyone interested in the history of psychic phenomena, especially spirit writing.
